A few weeks ago, I felt overjoyed to inspect a field hospital in Harbanspura. The patients present at the field hospital expressed their profound happiness and joy over getting free treatment. The field hospitals have the best facilities for providing mother and child care, preventive vaccinations, family planning, malaria, diabetes, skin diseases and children's diseases"26.Said,"Free medicines are being provided in government hospitals across Punjab, The Punjab government is allocating Rs.100 billion in new budget for the provision of health services and free medicines. I visit hospitals and take feedback from every patient myself. People are running their own pharmacies and patients are not getting medicines in government hospitals. I myself witnessed that medicine cartons were lying in the hospital store and patients were being denied of getting free medicines. Now, an announcement is being made for free medicines in every hospital across Punjab, No doctor in any hospital can order medicines from outside"27.Revealed,"We are laying a network of health facilities in the new year 2025-26 across Punjab. 2.Said,"100 new innovative programs and projects have started in Punjab, 700 roads are being built, construction and expansion of 12,000 KMs of roads is a big record." Added,"Full attention is focused on the people, there is no example of such a hefty budget in the health and education sectors in the history of the province. Free medicines will be available everywhere. We will also meet our target of providing essential facilities in government schools during this year." Underscored,"A record of cleanliness was set across the province on Eid. It is easy to increase taxes by increasing their rate, but instead we are focussing on enhancing the tax net. If we build two or four big projects, it seems as if a big job has been done, but we have brought 100 new programs. More than 40,000 houses could not be built even in 40 years but we have made them in just one year"

3.Said,"I have memorized figures related to each department in 2025-26 budget, which will prove to be an unprecedented budget in the history of the country." Added,"We will review the provision of bonus to government employees based on their performance, minimum wage of a laborer is fixed at 40,000/month." Emphasised,"Wage system should be digitalized. The rate of local debt in Punjab has decreased by a record 94%"

4.Said,"We are presenting a historic package of public service. Governance is improving due to financial discipline." Added,"The entire progress will be presented in the provincial assembly, everyone will tell how much funds were spent where. No scandal surfaced due to e-tendering and good governance." 5.Chaired a meeting of the provincial cabinet to approve budget 2025-26, with a total outlay of Rs 5335 billion. The Cabinet approved a development budget of Rs 1240 billion, the largest in the history of the country and the province. 27% of the total budget has been esrmarked for health and education, and 73% for public investment. The budget proposed a 10% increase in employees' salaries and a 5% increase in pension. Directed the authorities concerned to increase minimum wage of workers from Rs 37,000 to Rs 40,000 per month. Also directed them to digitize payment of all types of wages in Punjab, besides ensuring the use of protective equipment for laborers and workers. Further directed the relevant authorities to register wedding halls, marquees, restaurants and farmhouses in Punjab by July 20, after issuing an immediate notification in this regard

8.Said,"Punjab government is fully aware of every challenge related to the environment." Added,"Special funds have been allocated in the budget 2025-26 for geotagging of water-scarce areas across Punjab." 9.Said,"We are working for environmental protection and better management of natural resources." Added,"Punjab has introduced Pakistan's first comprehensive climate policy to effectively deal with the climate change issue"

15.Said,"Students will be given meritorious scholarships and laptops." Added,"Children will not sit on floor in any school in Punjab. Rs 40 billion are being given to provide them all missing facilities." Emphasised,"Layyah and Bhakkar along with other remote districts will be given access to motorway, besides extending better communication links to Muzaffargarh and Mianwali." Vowed,"We will not let the children of laborers sleep hungry, and will give Rs 40 billion for their ration cards"

16.Presided over a special meeting to review progress on Nawaz Sharif IT City project. Nawaz Sharif IT City became the first institution in Punjab being approved by Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA). Gave a formal approval for the establishment of NSIT Silicon Block

17.Was apprised,"World's renowned international IT groups have expressed their keen interest in Nawaz Sharif IT City project. 23 well known IT companies are willing to establish their institutions in Nawaz Sharif IT City Silicon Block. Plots have been acquired for the establishment of institutions or offices in this regard

18.Was further informed,"World’s renowned Imperial College of London will establish a medical college and hospital in collaboration with Novecare. NetCol will establish Pakistan's first comprehensive IT university in the Nawaz Sharif IT City. Roots Group will enter into a joint venture with the British University of Warwick. Similarly, renowned companies namely DataFort and Mari-Tech will also jointly build Tier 3 and Tier 4 data centres. Data Rocks has expressed their interest in establishing Punjab’s first FTA-approved lab. CEO CBD Imran Amin gave a detailed briefing on progress made on the projects. Stressed the need for taking more effective, swift and necessary steps for the establishment of Nawaz Sharif IT City project

19.Said in her message on International Day for Countering Hate Speech,"Hatred, prejudice and narrow-mindedness must be countered on all fronts." Added, “The poison of hate speech creates division, chaos and violence in societies. Hate speech is not only an attack on any individual, it also amounts to attacking the conscience of humanity." Highlighted,“Islamophobia is the most dangerous form of hateful behavior. The identity of Muslims such as mosques and homes are subjected to hatred. Added, “People of Punjab have suffered immensely in the last four years after the tenure of Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. Even cancer patients had to come on roads for being denied free medicines." Highlighted,"Thanks to Allah Almighty that not only cancer but also hepatitis, cardiac diseases, TB medicines and insulin doses for two months are being delivered at the doorsteps of patients. Earlier, people had to abandon their work, take leave from their jobs and stand in ques for getting treatment and medicines. 24.Revealed,"There was no facility of air conditioner in Clinic-on-Wheels vehicles in Phase-I, but now excellent air conditioned vehicles have been purchased in Phase-II. I felt immense pleasure by getting treatment like a normal patient in a government hospital. I got treatment by getting admission slip from the hospital. Underwent MRI scan and the doctors administered me injections." Added,"I feel profound pleasure over coming to know that the best and talented orthopedic surgeons are available at Mayo Hospital. By the grace of Allah Almighty, more than one crore patients have received free treatment immediately through Clinic-on-Wheels project so far. Clinic-on-Wheels also provide facilities for getting checked blood pressure, undergoing screening and treatment of other diseases"

25.Emphasized,"Children suffering from malnutrition in South Punjab will be treated immediately through Clinic-on-Wheels, which will also be tracked to prevent misuse of vehicles. 45,000 people are getting free treatment on a daily basis through the field staff and Clinic-on-Wheels. A few weeks ago, I felt overjoyed to inspect a field hospital in Harbanspura. The patients present at the field hospital expressed their profound happiness and joy over getting free treatment. The field hospitals have the best facilities for providing mother and child care, preventive vaccinations, family planning, malaria, diabetes, skin diseases and children's diseases"

26.Said,"Free medicines are being provided in government hospitals across Punjab, The Punjab government is allocating Rs.100 billion in new budget for the provision of health services and free medicines. I visit hospitals and take feedback from every patient myself. People are running their own pharmacies and patients are not getting medicines in government hospitals. I myself witnessed that medicine cartons were lying in the hospital store and patients were being denied of getting free medicines. Now, an announcement is being made for free medicines in every hospital across Punjab, No doctor in any hospital can order medicines from outside"

27.Revealed,"We are laying a network of health facilities in the new year 2025-26 across Punjab. Every fatal disease will be treated in Nawaz Sharif Medical District going to be established in Lahore. 100-bedded Children's Hospital, Blood Diseases, Bone Marrow, Orthopedic and other hospitals are being built. PML-N government is providing real service to the people. The people have announced their verdict in Sialkot by-election"

*🔵"سنا ہے جس عورت سے آپ کی شادی ہوئی تھی، وہ بڑی خطرناک عورت تھی، اور آپ نے ڈر کے مارے اسے طلاق دے دی تھی" برگد کے درخت کے نیچے کرسی پر بیٹھے ایک خاموش طبع بوڑھے سے ایک منچلے نے استہزائیہ کہا.**"اللہ بخشے اسے، بہت اچھی عورت تھی" بنا ناراض ہوئے، بغیر غصہ کئے بابا جی کی طرف سے ایک مطمئن جواب آیا۔۔۔*ایک نوجوان نے ذرا اونچی آواز میں کہا "لیکن بابا جی لوگ کہتے ہیں وہ بڑی خطرناک عورت تھی. بابا جی کچھ دیر خاموش رہے، پھر کہنے لگے۔۔۔"کہتے تو ٹھیک ہی ہیں، وہ واقعی بہت خطرناک تھی اور حقیقتاً میں نے ڈر کے مارے اسے طلاق دی تھی۔۔۔""یہ بات تو مردانگی کے خلاف ہے، عورت سے ڈرنا کہاں کی بہادری ہے؟ "نوجوان جوشیلے انداز میں بولا..."میں عورت سے نہیں ڈرتا تھا، میں تو 'اس' سے ڈرتا تھا جس تک اس کی رسائی تھی" پرسکون جواب...جوانوں نے حیرت سے ایک دوسرے کو دیکھا.ایسی عورتوں کو تو جہنم میں ہونا چاہیے...لا حول ولا قوہ.. کہاں آپ جیسا شریف النفس آدمی کہاں وہ عورت؟ اچھا کیا چھوڑ دیا" نوجوان کے لہجے میں غصہ تھا۔ بوڑھے کی متجسس زندگی کا پٹارا کھل کر سامنے آگیا تھا. تجسس ختم ہوا، اب سب باری باری منتشر ہونے لگے۔ جانے والوں نے عنوان پڑھ لیا تھا، کہانی خود بنانی تھی، جو رہ گئے تھے وہ وہی تھے جو اصل کہانی جاننا چاہتے تھے-"میں بھی ایسا ہی سوچتا تھا کہ اسے جہنم میں ہی ہونا چاہیے تھا، تب ہی میں نے اسے جہنم جیسی زندگی دی تھی" بوڑھی آنکھوں میں اضطراب اترا.یہ تب کی بات ہے جب میں سرکار کے ہاں ایک روپیہ ماہوار پر ملازم ہوا، میری ماں چاہتی تھی کہ میری شادی ہوجائے. رشتہ ڈھونڈا گیا، ایک مونگ پھلی فروش کی بیٹی میری ماں کو پسند آئی, سلیقہ مند، خوبصورت اور ایک دم خاموش طبع. مجھے اس رشتے پر اعتراض تھا کہ وہ ایک مونگ پھلی بیچنے والی کی بیٹی تھی. مزدور کی اولاد کو پیٹ کی فکررہتی ہے، تربیت کی نہیں، تربیت بڑے گھرانوں میں کی جاتی ہے جہاں افلاس آنکھوں کے روشنی چھیننے سے قاصر ہوتا ہے. وہ کیا تربیت دے گی میری اولاد کو؟ لیکن وہ لڑکی میری ماں کو ایسی پسند تھی کہ اماں اس کے علاوہ کسی کا نام نہیں سننا چاہتی تھیں.پھر وہ بیاہ کر میرے گھر آگئی، رخصتی کے وقت اس کے باپ نے مجھے کہا "میری بیٹی سیدھی سادھی ہے، اسے دنیاداری کا کوئی خاص پتا نہیں،اگر کہیں کوئی چوک ہوجائے تو معاف کردینا،یوں ہے بڑے دل والی،اپنے *سائیں* کو خوش رکھے گی", وہ بالکل ویسی ہی تھی جیسی میری ماں نے بتایا تھا. سلیقہ مند، سگھڑ اور تابعدار.""باہر دوستوں کے ساتھ میری صحبت کوئی اچھی نہیں تھی، ملازمت کے اوقات میں کھانا گھر سے باہر کھاتا، دوستوں میں بیٹھتا ،رات گئے تک محفل چلتی پھر گھر جاتا. وہ کیا کھاتی کیا پیتی کس حال میں رہتی تھی مجھے کوئی پرواہ نہیں تھی. انہی دنوں میری ماں بھی دنیا سے رخصت ہوگئی تھی.ایک روز میں جوئے میں بھاری رقم ہار کر جب تھکا ہارا گھر آیا تو کہنے لگی "آپ تو کھانا باہر کھالیتے ہیں، مجھے بھوک لگتی ہے، ہوسکے توایک ہی بار مہینے کا راشن ڈلوا دیا کیجیئے، روز روز بازار سےخریداری کی صعوبت نہیں اٹھانی پڑے گی"- کیا؟ اس مونگ پھلی بیچنے والے کی بیٹی کی اتنی اوقات کہ مجھ سے مطالبہ کرسکے- مجھے طیش آیا۔۔"ہو ناں تم کسی بہت بڑے باپ کی بیٹی کہ تمہیں پورے مہینے کا راشن اور خرچ چاہیئے, اپنی اوقات دیکھی ہے؟ "غصے میں آکر اس پر ہاتھ اٹھایا اور مغلظات بھی بکے. میں یہ نہیں سوچ سکا کہ آخر اسے زندہ رہنے کے لئے روٹی تو ہر حال میں چاہیے تھی!وہ جسمانی اعتبار سے کافی کمزور تھی، مار برداشت نہیں کرسکتی تھی, پشیمانی تھی یا کیا وہ دودن تک بستر پر پڑی رہی. مجھے اسکی بھی کوئی پرواہ نہیں تھی.پھر اس نے گھر میں ہی سینا پرونا شروع کردیا، ہاتھ کا ہنر اس کے کام آیا، یوں اسکی روٹی کا انتظام ہوگیا اور میں یہ سوچ کر پہلے سے بھی بےپرواہ ہوگیا.ایک روز ایک ہمسائے نے مجھے روک کر کہا "دن میں جب آپ گھر نہیں ہوتے تو آپ کے گھر سے باتوں کی آوازیں آتی ہیں", میرے سوا میری غیر موجودگی میں کون آتا تھا جس سے وہ اتنی آواز میں باتیں کرتی تھی؟ غصہ حد سے سوا تھا، بس نہ چلتا تھا کہ اسے جان سے مار دوں، لیکن میں بس ایک موقع کی طاق میں تھا.ایک رات پچھلے پہر کسی کے بولنے کی آواز پر میری آنکھ کھلی، چاندی رات میں صحن میں پڑی ہر شے بالکل واضح طور پر دکھائی دیتی تھی، میں اٹھ کر دروازے تک آیا.اب آواز زیادہ واضح تھی.وہ کہ رہی تھی:"سائیں! صبح ایک روٹی کے لئے آٹا گھر میں موجود ہے، وہ ایک روٹی کھا کر چلا جائے گا، یہ سوچے بنا کہ میں سارا دن بھوکی رہوں گی, میری روٹی جب تک تیرے ذمے تھی تو عزت سے ملتی تھی، جب تو نے اپنے نائب کے ہاتھ دی تو روٹی کیساتھ بےعزتی اور اذیت بھی ملنے لگی، مجھے اب روٹی تو ہی دے...تیرا بنایا نائب تو خائن نکلا" وہ میری شکایت کررہی تھی؟ لیکن کس سے؟ کون تھا جو اسے روٹی دیتا تھا مجھ سے بھی پہلے؟؟؟میں نے باہر آکر دیکھا وہ صحن کے بیچ چارپائی پر بیٹھی خود سے باتیں کررہی تھی. وہاں کوئی بھی نہ تھا. میرے پیروں تلے سے زمین نکل گئی, وہ خدا سے میری شکایت کررہی تھی, وہ اس لمحے مجھے کوئی اور ہی مخلوق لگی. وہ بہت کم بولتی تھی لیکن وہ کس کے ساتھ اتنا بولتی تھی, آج مجھے سمجھ آیا تھا. وہ تو بہت بڑے باپ کی بیٹی تھی. کیسی عورت تھی جو افلاس کے ہوتے بھی خدا شناس تھی, میرا جسم خوف سے کانپ رہا تھا.دن چڑھتے ہی میں نے سامان باندھا اور اسے اسکے گھر چھوڑ آیا، سسر نے طلاق کی وجہ پوچھی تو میں ڈرتے ہوئے کہنے لگا." یہ بڑی خطرناک عورت ہے، بڑے دربار میں میری شکایتیں لگاتی ہے.مجھے ڈر ہے کہ بادشاہ کو کسی دن تاو آگیا تو میرا حشر نہ کردے" - حقیقت یہ تھی کہ میں اس کیساتھ انصاف نہیں کرسکا تھا.اس کا باپ گھر کی دہلیز پر کھڑا تھا. میرے پلٹنے پر کہنے لگا "میں نے تمہیں کہا بھی تھا کہ اسے دنیاداری نہیں آتی، وہ تو بس 'سائیں' کو خوش رکھنا جانتی ہے" , اس کی مراد خدا سے تھی اور میں خود کو سمجھا تھا.جب میں واپس گھر آیا تو مجھ پر انکشاف ہوا کہ رات اس نے یہی تو مانگا تھا." تو خود مجھے روٹی دے، تیرا نائب تو خائن نکلا", اور آج نان نفقے کا اختیار مجھ سے چھین لیا گیا.میں بے تحاشہ رویا، اس کا سائیں بہت بڑا تھا، اس کی رسائی جس تک تھی وہ تو دوجہانوں کا رب تھا. وہ جس کی ایک روٹی مجھ پر بھاری تھی وہ اس کے لئے کیا نہیں کرسکتا تھا. میں واقعی ڈر گیا تھا. میں آج بھی ڈرتا ہوں کہیں میرے حق میں اس نے کوئی بددعا نہ کردی ہو.ٹھیک کہتے ہیں لوگ!!کہاں میں کہاں وہ؟؟ "بوڑھی آنکھوں میں نمی اتری تھی."میں کور چشم اسے پہچان نہ سکا، میں نہیں ڈرتا تھا، حالانکہ ڈرنا چاہیے تھا ،اس کے سائیں نے تو پہلے ہی کہہ دیا تھا کہ عورتوں کے معاملے میں خدا سے ڈرو"....
